The award winning actor and director has worked locally with A.C.T; Berkeley Rep; Berkeley Stage Co; Eureka Theatre; and Magic Theatre. He is the former artistic director of Town Hall Theatre Co, Martinez Rep, DEO Ireland, and production business manager for Center Rep. He has performed improv with Paul Sills Story Theatre Co., The Committee, and The Wing; and was a founding member of the improv group Now Appearing. He has also been a street performer at Fisherman’s Wharf and the Cannery with The San Francisco City Clowns. Doug received the Faculty Association of California Community Colleges Faculty Member of the Year Award (2014) and the California Community Colleges Board of Governor’s Gerald C. Hayward Award for Excellence in Education Award (2015). His screenwriting credits include penning several films most notably film festival honorees Black-Eyed Dogs and Hand of God.
